Wolf Run Adult Disclaimer 2026/27

This form is important and should be read carefully and your attention is particularly drawn to section 3.

You must sign and return this form to Lionheart Events Limited (company number 07513607) (the “Organiser”) on event days at registration prior to participating in any activities at the event site (the “Wolf Run”), to include 5k, 10k, junior off-road obstacle run and trail run; also all pre-course and post-course activities (including the post-run party) for all events entered in 2026/27.

1. I HAVE HAD IT EXPLAINED TO ME AND UNDERSTAND THAT:
   1. the activities undertaken at the Wolf Run are physically and mentally challenging and potentially dangerous, and include but are not limited to water based and other obstacles, surface hazards and run course & weather conditions;
   2. there is a risk of serious injury and/or death associated with my participation in activities at the Wolf Run;
   3. although adherence to strict safety standards and health & safety assessments minimises these risks, they cannot be completely eliminated; and
   4. participation in activities and use of facilities at the Wolf Run is ENTIRELY AT MY OWN RISK.
2. I CONFIRM THAT:
   1. I am 17 years of age or older.
   2. I am fully aware of the risks to myself and others associated with participation in activities and use of facilities at the Wolf Run. These risks include damage to or loss of personal property, personal injury and in extreme cases, death.
   3. I will comply with all instructions given to me by the Organiser’s officers, employees and volunteers (“WR Staff”) and use any equipment as directed and not so as to hurt or injure others.
   4. I am sufficiently fit and healthy to safely participate in the Wolf Run and do not suffer from any medical condition which would adversely affect my ability to safely participate in all activities at the Wolf Run.
3. RELEASE
   1. I hereby acknowledge and accept that the Organiser and the WR Staff shall not be liable to me for any loss or damage arising from my participation in the activities at the Wolf Run, including indirect or consequential loss or damage.
   2. Nothing in this disclaimer shall be construed as limiting or excluding the Organiser’s liability for:
      1. death or personal injury which arises as a consequence of the Organiser’s negligence, or the negligence of the WR Staff; or
      2. fraudulent misrepresentation; or
      3. any other matter for which it would be illegal or unlawful for the Organiser to exclude or attempt to exclude its liability.
4. AGREEMENT
   1. I have read and fully understood all the terms of this disclaimer. I confirm that I am not relying on any statements or representations by any person or entity as an inducement to my fully and voluntarily engaging in the activities at the Wolf Run and assuming the risks and obligations stated above in signing this document.
   2. I acknowledge that the nature of my participation in the Wolf Run's activities and use of the Wolf Run's facilities is potentially hazardous and that if I am unwilling to accept the risks associated with my participation, I should not take part.
   3. I give permission to the Organiser to use my photograph and/or any other record of my participation in the Wolf Run for any legitimate purpose. I understand that any and all likenesses of me captured during the Wolf Run by the Organiser or the WR Staff shall become the sole property of the Organiser.
   4. If any court or competent authority finds that any provision of this document (or part of any provision) is invalid, illegal or unenforceable, that provision or part-provision shall, to the extent required, be deemed to be deleted, and the validity and enforceability of the other provisions of this agreement shall not be affected.

Wolf Run Junior Consent Form 2026/27

Young Participants (Wards) must be aged between 7 and 15 to participate in Wolf Run Junior 2026/27 Events. Wards aged between 7 and 11 must be accompanied on course; wards between the ages of 12 and 15 can run unaccompanied.

In consideration of my Ward being allowed to participate the Wolf Run, I, on behalf of my Ward, acknowledge, accept and agree to the following:

1. The risk of serious injury and/or death from the activities involved in the Wolf Run are possible and may include, without limitation: sprains, strains; fractures; burns, heat-related illness and hypothermia; over-use syndrome; injuries involving the acts or omissions of other Wolf Run participants or vehicles; drowning; animal bites and/or stings; contact with poisonous plants; accidents involving, but not limited to, running, crawling, push-ups, pull-ups, climbing, travel by boat, truck, car or other convenience, falling from heights; heart attack; diseases from exposure to faecal contaminated water or slurry; permanent paralysis; and/or death.
2. I knowingly, voluntarily and freely assume and accept all such risks, both known and unknown.
3. I knowingly and voluntarily agree to comply with any stated customary terms and conditions for my Ward's participation in the Wolf Run. If, however, I observe an unusual and/or significant hazard during my presence at the Wolf Run, I will remove my Ward from participation and bring such hazard to the attention of the nearest Wolf Run official.
4. I certify and represent that my Ward is free from all illnesses, injuries and defects that could interfere with his/her safe participation in the Wolf Run. I agree that it is my responsibility to determine whether my Ward is sufficiently fit and trained to safely participate in the Wolf Run. I hereby represent that my Ward is in good health and is in proper physical condition to safely participate. I acknowledge my Ward and I are both fully aware and informed of the inherent risks in participating in the Wolf Run and that my Ward's participation in the Wolf Run is entirely voluntary. I acknowledge and agree that I will not be reimbursed any portion of any fees paid for participation in the event if my Ward withdraws before completing the Course, as I understand all fees are paid only in exchange for the opportunity to participate to the best of their ability as described in this document, and in no way, reflect an entitlement to complete the course.
5. I consent to the administration of first aid and other medical treatment and related services, including evacuation/transport in the event of injury or illness in connection with my Ward's participation in the Wolf Run. I agree to assume liability for any and all medical costs incurred as a result of my Ward's participation in the Wolf Run, which may include, but is not limited to: medical care and treatment; hospital stays; physicians; pharmaceutical goods and services.
6. The Releasees reserve the right, in their sole determination, to postpone, cancel, or modify the Wolf Run due to weather conditions or other factors beyond the control of the Releasees that might affect the health and/or safety of participants. Lionheart Events Ltd will not be obligated to refund any participant any registration fees due to a cancelled event.
7. I grant full permission without charge to the Organiser to use, reproduce and disseminate photographs, images, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other depiction or record of the event which may include my Ward for any legitimate purpose in perpetuity, including but not limited to promoting, advertising, and marketing activities, and I understand that my Ward and/or I shall not be entitled to any compensation therefore. I understand that any and all photographs, images, videotapes, motion pictures, recordings, or any other depiction or record of the Wolf Run become the sole property of the Organiser. I further understand that the Organiser as sole owner, has the full right to sell and/or profit from the commercial use of such photographs, motion pictures, recordings, and/or likenesses. If parents have any particular concern about their young person being photographed or filmed they should notify the Organiser; however, the Organiser reserves the right to decline entry to any person unable to meet or abide by the promoter's conditions

I confirm that:

1. The Ward is aged at least 7 and is no older than 17 years of age on the date of the event.
2. If the Ward is aged between 7 and 11, I give consent for the Accompanying/Responsible Adult (mentioned) to supervise my Ward on course and in the event village and surrounding areas at the Wolf Run.
3. I consider my Ward fit and able to complete the course and have advised Lionheart Events Ltd (the Organiser) of any medical conditions.
4. On behalf of myself and my Ward, I appreciate the risks involved in the Wolf Run.
5. I have read the terms and conditions and clauses outlined, assumption of risk and image release agreement and fully understand it's terms.
6. If I am not the parent/guardian of the Ward and I'm signing this form on the parent/guardian's behalf, I have their full permission to do so and agree to take on any and all responsibilities stated in this document.
