If you’ve ever thought, “I’d love to try The Wolf Run, but I’m not fit enough,” you’re not alone. We hear it all the time.
But here’s the truth, the Wolf Run isn’t just for elite athletes. It’s for anyone who wants to escape the ordinary, challenge themselves and have a real outdoor adventure.
It’s not a race. It’s your wild adventure.
There are no prizes for first place, and no judgement if you’re last. People walk, jog, crawl, and laugh their way through our courses. It’s about the experience, not the time on the clock.
But make no mistake, it’s still a challenge … but that challenge is yours.
Charging over obstacles and powering full speed through the natural terrain will test even the fittest Wolves. But remember, it doesn’t have to be tackled that way. You set the pace, push yourself as much as you want…just enough to leave the course buzzing with that wild, unstoppable feeling as you cross the finish line.
Who can take part?
We’ve had 81-year-olds, new mums, first-timers, and even those who’ve never run more than a mile tackle our course and love every second of it. You don’t need to be the fastest, you just need the guts to give it a go.
The Wolf Run is truly for all kinds of adventurers:
Weekend joggers, gym-goers, and first-timers looking for something new.
Families running side by side in our Junior 3K or 6K events (ages 7+ with an adult).
Kids running with sports teams or school mates.
Seasoned athletes swapping road miles and treadmills for trails, mud, and the wild outdoors.
Corporate teams out for a bonding experience like no other.
Hen and stag do’s, birthday groups and even a wedding party.
What to expect on the day
Step into a buzzing event village alive with music, food stalls, kids’ entertainment, the Wolf Pack bar, and plenty of freebies to scoop up. Drop your bag, make a quick loo stop (trust us, you’ll thank us later), then join our legendary warm-up crew as they get the crowd fired up and ready to run wild.
Obstacle Course: Expect mud, water, laughter, and moments that make you feel like a kid again. You’ll get dirty, you’ll get drenched… and you’ll love every minute.
Trail Run: Wild countryside, breathtaking views, free running and terrain that keeps you guessing at every turn.
Either way, you’ll cross the finish line with a story to tell, and a grin that sticks long after the mud is washed off.
Once you’re done, freshen up in the showers and changing rooms, then celebrate with a cold drink, a protein shake, or some well-earned food, think sizzling pizza, juicy burgers, hog roast, Greek chicken wraps, and tasty vegan options.
Quick tips on what to wear
Obstacle course: Go light and quick-drying, wear trail shoes or grippy trainers (no spikes), and gloves if you like extra grip. Bring a towel, full change of clothes, and dry shoes for after – you’ll be glad you did!
Trail run: Good trail shoes and lightweight running gear are all you need.
We’re proud that The Wolf Run is for everyone, from seasoned athletes to weekend joggers to those who haven’t done a proper run since school PE.
All you need is a sense of adventure… and the guts to give it a go.
